Kansas City, Missouri has undergone a profound transformation starting with the launch of the downtown Streetcar Line in May, 2016. The Streetcar Line is strategically placed to augment service from Kansas City’s River Market and Crown Center and directly connect them to downtown, Kansas City’s largest employment center, with approximately 545,000 people in the area every day. We have 38 large interactive screens placed along and around the Streetcar Line helping to create an informed and connected experience for citizens, tourists and businesses. 16 of those interactive screens are located at the highest student traffic locations around UMKC. There are large 75” interactive screens located at Kansas City International Airport. Since launch close to 1,000,000 people downtown have engaged in the digital kiosk screens.

With 6 Fortune 1000 companies including H&R Block, Cerner, and UMB Financial, and the corporate offices for Ford Motors and Honeywell, Kansas City is home to thriving business, technology and education. Several major universities have campuses within city limits, including Univ of Missouri-KC.

There are more than 10 million overnight guests annually in the downtown area alone. Kansas City has 4 professional sports teams (2 World Champions in the past 3 years). The Sprint Center hosts college sporting events and big name concerts. Arts and cultural experience, including the Kansas City Ballet, the Kansas City Symphony, and the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, theater and museums.
